Why do you have choose just one? In theory both have their place as there are sites that combine both some Flash and ASP.Net. Flash is good if you want to do mostly UI work and eventually get into Adobe's ecosystem in a sense as AIR would be where you could progress into Rich Internet Applications for one way to go. ASP.Net is good for knowing some server-side programming and could get you more into back-end programming that is used for various large systems.

I'm an ASP.Net developer though I have seen a little Flash here and there.

You clearly don't understand the life and career of a developer. You don't "pick one" technolology but treat each much like a craftsman would treat his tools(hammer, chisel, etc.) Pick becoming a good software engineer and the salary and opportunities(programming in ASP.NET/Flash/Whatever new language comes out) will follow.

Do what you love, as long as there's a job available that pays your living expenses.

Boxing yourself in as an "Foo Programmer" is a bad idea, as it limits both your range of thinking and your usefulness (what do you do when no one uses Foo any longer?).

I'm sure @hugasuga expected responses like StackOverflow, where you can get 5 great answers in 2 minutes. The pace here takes a little adjusting to. – Kate Gregory Jul 30 at 14:45
